David K. Neff, 80, of Short St., Ellwood City passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Ellwood City Hospital.
Born November 17, 1936 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Curtis E. and Anna J. Duvall Neff.
David graduated from Lincoln High School in 1955. He then served in the Army from 1956 – 1957. Following his discharge, David worked for Ellwood Safety Appliance Company for 34 years, retiring in 1999. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing pool.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Smarr of Columbia, South Carolina; son, Mark Neff of Ellwood City; sister, JoAnne Parau of Ellwood City; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Storch, Andrew and William Smarr of Columbia, S.C., Caroline Smarr of Charlotte, N.C., and Ty Neff of Dallas, T.X.; great grandchildren, Jack and Abel Storch of Culumbia, S.C.; and a special niece, Laurie Dilley.
Per David’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.
