Dennis L. Graham

Dennis L. Graham, 72, of Shenango Twp, New Castle passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at UPMC Jameson Hospital following a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Born January 6, 1948 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Loron and Lillian (Reynolds) Graham.

Denny was a graduate of Lincoln High School. Following graduation he joined the Army and served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Faith Country Chapel Church. A retired Postal Carrier, Denny enjoyed exercising and was always selflessly looking out for others. He also never met a cookie he didn’t like.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth “Betsy” Graham; two daughters, Bonnie Ramey of Erie, Kathryn Silvester of New Castle; a son, Joseph Black of New Castle; two sisters, Shirley Handlos of Florida, Marilyn Windfrey of Morrisville, PA; a brother, Richard (Bets) Graham of Fairless Hills, PA; a brother in law, Ed Kirkley of Florida; and over 20 grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by wives, Mary Ann Graham and Ferma Graham, and a sister, Bonnie Kirkley.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday February 8 from 6-8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Miller of Faith Country Chapel officiating. Military rites will be offered by the Veterans Honor Guard. Final Interment will take place in Locust Grove Cemetery.
