Donald L. Vogel Sr.

Donald L. Vogel Sr. , 68, of N. Beaver St., New Castle died on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at his residence following an illness.

Born July 24, 1945 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Louis A. and Violet Ida Klear Vogel. 

Don was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed tinkering, camping and fishing. His most cherished time was spent with family.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judith I. Bailey Vogel; son, Donald L. Vogel Jr. of New Castle; two daughters, Kimberly (Terry) Craig Sr. of Ellwood City, Heidi (Josh) Piatt of New Castle; sister, Alice Buckenheimer of Rochester; brother, Robert Vogel Sr. of Beaver Falls; twelve grandchildren; and one great grandson, Brycen.

He was preceded in death by twin daughters and sixteen siblings.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday November 9 from 2-4 and 6 until the time of the funeral services at 8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main St. Wampum. Rev. Dr. William R. McGary of the Wampum Presbyterian Church will officiate.
