Donna Jean Mckinney Hartzel

I am Kenneth Eugene Hartzel. My best friend, housekeeper and lover born August 29, 1947, went to be with her father and mother on July 4, 2021 at Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA after a brief illness. Her father and mother, Clyde A. and Elsie E. McKinney preceded her in passing. Donna Jean is survived by her brother Clyde A. Jr, myself her husband of nearly 50 years, and daughter Amy Synnamyn.

Her family was at her bedside and holding her hand as she passed onto her next journey. Donna enjoyed quilting and knitting and created many items for her friends and family to enjoy. In her early years she also enjoyed her CB radio friends and many late nights with her other “BREAKER” friends. She was a member of the West Coast Radio Club. Donna lived for the various puppies and kitties that adored her over the years. She also had a passion for the ocean and boat rides.

Burial will be at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, next to her father with private services. Private celebration of life will be held at a later date, to be announced.
