Donna L. Capalbo

Donna L Capalbo, 76, of Dutch Ridge Road, Ellwood City passed away peacefully at her home with family at her side on Wednesday, April 24, 2019.

Born April 14, 1943 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late James and Donna (Claybundy) Carr. She was married to Francis J. “Frank” Capalbo for 50 years when he passed away October 18, 2012. Donna graduated from Lincoln High School. Her most cherished time was spent with family especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Don Bauder (Cindy Funkhouser) of Ellwood City; four daughters, Bridgette Capalbo (Dr. Steven Lombardi) of New Castle, Tina (Joe) DeCaria of Ellwood City, Rhoda (Clint) Francis of New Brighton, Rhonda McConahy of Ellwood City; seven grandchildren, Francine (Bob) Vogel, Chelsea (Drew) Nitkiewicz, Vincent DeCaria, Brandon Francis, Courtney Francis, Kirsten McConahy, and Nico DeCaria; and two great grandchildren, Bob and Anna Vogel.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to Three Rivers Hospice in New Castle and Home Care Assistance in Wexford for their kind and compassionate care.

Per Donna’s wishes, a private service will be held for immediate family only.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.
