Donnie M. Chappell

Donnie M. Chappell, 48, of Ellwood City died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 23, 2014.

Born November 5, 1965 in Ellwood City,he was the son of the late Howard D. Chappell who passed away April 23, 2006 and Lois Wehr Chappell of Plant City, Florida.

Donnie was employed as a truck driver for Dana Transport in New Philadelphia, Ohio. He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. He was also interested in history.

In addition to his mother, Lois, survivors include a sister, Karen (Tom) Goebel of Chewton; four brothers, Doug (Lois Dale) Chappell of New Castle, Harold (Vivian) Chappell of Salem, Ohio, Richard Chappell of Plant City, Florida, Ron (Dixie) Chappell of Wampum.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday March 26 from 2-4 and 6 until the time of the funeral service at 8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum. Pastor Gene Hydrick of the Chewton Christian Church will officiate. Interment will follow in the Slippery Rock Church Cemetery.
