Dorothy I. Boots

Dorothy I. Boots, 85, of West Pittsburg passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at her residence.

Born December 31, 1938 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. Sr. and Blanche Irene Mason Wiley. 

Dorothy had worked at Hillview Manor in the dietary department. In her younger years, she was an active member of the Center Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir. She was an avid knitter and loved all animals

Survivors include son, Don (Theresa) Boots Jr. of New Castle; two granddaughters, Destiny McCune and Taylor Boots; two sisters, Catherine Isabell Cooper of New Castle and Margaret Edith (Jonathan) Reagle of Florida; brother, Charles A. Wiley, Jr. of Camp Run, and her former husband Don Boots Sr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Gaile Ardon Wigton.

Private services will be held for the family.

Interment will be in Wurtemburg Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Center Church, 1143 Center Church Rd. New Castle 16101.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.
