Dorothy E. McClintick, 88, of Trinity Oaks Nursing Home, formerly of McKinley St., Ellwood City passed away Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Ellwood City Hospital following a brief illness.
Born August 23, 1929 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Pearl Weisz Weller. She was married to Jack C. McClintick who passed away April 24, 2009.
Dorothy was a member and former Deacon at the Calvin Presbyterian Church. She volunteered for the Meals on Wheels Program in Ellwood for many years. Her most cherished time was spent with family.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda (William) Rough of Linn Creek, Missouri; son, Rick (Sharon) McClintick of Ellwood City; sister, Yvonne (John) Boariu of Ellwood City; five grandchildren, Jaime Rough, Erika Rough, Brittania McClintick, Rikki (Brandon) Downey and Aaron McClintick; and two great granddaughters, Rebecca and Arianna.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane in 2013, and two sisters, Lillian Dillan, and Viola Anthony, and a brother, Paul Weller.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday September 11 from 5 to 8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 am with her pastor, Rev. Sean Brubaker officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
