Dorothy E. Mckinney

Dorothy E. McKinney, 104, of Portersville passed away Monday, August 6, 2018 at Creek Meadows in Zelienople.

Born July 8, 1914 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Elmer John and Anna Mae Spears Herrscher. She was married to Bertus B. McKinney who passed away in 1983. She was preceded in death by her two children, Doris (Harold) English and Elmer McKinney, and a grandson, Bryan McKinney.

Dorothy was a former active member of the Franklin Park Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking. Her most cherished time was spent with her family.

Survivors include her daughter in law, Arlene McKinney of Portersville; five grandchildren, Kim English, Dawn Lilly, Beth (Tom) Brest, Keith (Celia) English, Brad (Ginger) McKinney; 11 great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday August 12, from 2 pm until the time of the funeral service at 5 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Pastor George Palombo will officiate the service. Final interment will take place in the Franklin Park Baptist Cemetery in Sewickley.
