Dorothy J. Capp

Dorothy J. Capp, 87, of Eliza St. Wampum (Chewton) passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the Family Hospice in Lawrenceville.

Born January 15, 1928 in Wampum, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Pauline Moskal Krosovic. She was married for 64 years to John Capp who passed away February 8, 2011.

Dorothy graduated from Wampum High School in 1946. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Church and a former member of the Alter and Rosary Society. Dorothy was active with and past president of the Chewton Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Wampum Women’s Club and served on the Wayne Twp. Election Board.

Survivors include two daughters, Marianne (George) Fabich of Chewton, Melinda (Phillip) Fabich of Shenago Twp.; son, John A. (Sharon) Capp of Ross Twp.; sister, Mary Gonzales of Kentucky; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Krosovic, and a daughter in law, Elaine Capp.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday May 31 from 3-7 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at Holy Redeemer Church at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Myasthenia Gravis or the Kidney Foundation.
