Douglas A. Hazen

Douglas Arthur Hazen, 58, of Wampum passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at his residence.

Douglas was born November 9, 1965 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Ellwood L. “Woody” Hazen who passed away in 2012 and Beverly A. Ferrante Hazen of Ellwood City.

He had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1983. He then graduated from the Technical Training School in Pittsburgh. He worked as an outstanding Carpenter for many years throughout many states. Doug was also an avid hunter. He loved to draw animals and nature scenes. His artistic ability was amazing to everyone.

Survivors include his mother Beverly; daughter, Samantha Ann (James) Lavoie of New Hampshire; grandchildren, Gavin and Nolan Lavoie, and also by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends.

A Private Blessing Service will be held on Friday December 1, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Father James Wehner will officiate.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations in Douglas A. Hazen’s name may be made to the Divine Grace Parish Social Services.
