E. Harriet Marshall

E. Harriet (Foster) Marshall, 81, of Grandview Rd., Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Monday, May 16, 2016.

Born June 5, 1934 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth Stephenson Foster. She was married for 60 years to William R. Marshall, who survives.

Harriet graduated from New Castle High School in 1952. She worked at Bell Telephone in New Castle. Active with the Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church, Harriet served as a Deacon and was the Secretary for many years. Harriet was a member of the Wurtemburg Perry Twp Fire Auxiliary, the Ellwood City Hospital Auxiliary and the Ellwood City Municipal Women. Her most cherished time was spent with her children and grandchildren..

In addition to her husband, Bill, survivors include a son, James (Becky) Marshall of Fombell; two daughters, Shari (James) Kennedy and Patti (Jay) Petrak, both of Ellwood City; three grandchildren, Nathan Marshall, Logan and Taylor Petrak; two great grandchildren, Madox and Adalynn Marshall; and a number of nieces and nephews..

The last of her family, Harriet was preceded in death by siblings, Larry Foster, Izetta Mort, Helen Gillette, and Charlotte Davis.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday May 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.

Friends will also be received from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 11 am at the Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church. Her pastor, Rev. Dr. Robert Guy will officiate the services. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
