Earla M. Hardy

Earla M. Hardy, 59, of North Beaver Township was called home to God on Thursday, January 14, 2021.

Born September 11, 1961 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Sarah Curry Hardy with whom she resided, and the late William Hardy Sr.

Earla was a member of Victory Christian Center. She spent many years employed by AT&T, as the lead trainer in New Castle, and then as a manager in Baltimore, MD. She was an accomplished softball player for the Keeley Fancy Fillies, winning MVP in the playoffs even though her team lost; and she later found great joy in helping coach her nieces’ softball team. Earla was also a devoted Steelers’ fan. Earla will be remembered by many for her quick wit, sarcasm, and tender heart.

Earla’s greatest love was her family and she organized family fun days to help keep her family connected. Earla will be sadly missed by her sisters, Mary Beth (Larry) Weis, Frances Rogers, and Christy Hardy all of New Castle; Marsha (John) Park of Henderson, NV; Sue (Brian) Izzo of Concord, OH; brothers Larry Hardy and Jeff (Jill) Hardy of New Castle; her fur baby, Charlie; and “her kids,” the many nieces and nephews that always brought a smile to her face Bryan Tremmel, Jon Tremmel, Lisa Klamer, April Whitworth, Kenny Rogers, Bryan Carmichael, Heather Pierce, Larry Hardy Jr., Jason Hardy, Japheth Hardy, Briana Izzo, Ben Izzo, Jessica Tekac, Jocelyn Bryson, Jennifer Hardy, Jeff Hardy Jr., John Park III, Jackie Gibson, Chris Park, Cody Park, Kathrine Park, Melissa Park; and all their littles Josh, Jeremy, Sean, Aria, Ava, Brendon, Bryanna, Chloe, Liam, Marissa, Brandon, Lexie, Abby, Julia, Ben, Jaelynn, Noelle, Natalie, Katie, Ricky, Rileigh, Hunter, Harper, Robbie, Julie, Jack, Carter, Colt, Sylas, and Rosa.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister Cheryl Tremmel; brother William Hardy Jr., brother-in-law, Norman Tremmel, and niece, Adriane Park.

Services will be private.
