Ed A. Kennedy, 65, of Moravia Rd., New Galilee (North Beaver Twp.) passed away peacefully Sunday, April 5, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born January 12, 1950, he lived all of his life on the family farm. He was the son of the late Wayne E. and Edna Innes Kennedy. He was married for 6 years to his loving wife, Diana L. Ponziani Kennedy who survives.

Ed was a truck driver with Martin Trucking in Bessemer for 34 years. He graduated from Mohawk High School. Ed was a member of the Meridian Lodge F&AM # 411 in Enon Valley for over 30 years. He was also a member of the New Castle Consistory. He enjoyed farming. His most cherished time was spent with his step children and his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Diana, survivors include two step daughters, Kellie Robison of Greensburg, Ann Robison of Eddystone; seven grandchildren; mother in law, Nathal Ponziani of West Pittsburgh; several siblings including his closest sister and brother in law, Connie and David Anderson and their children, Kyle, Stefanie and Kegan, all of North Beaver Twp.; a special neighbor, Shane; and his faithful dog, Gracie Allen.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Private Memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Celtic Hospice for their loving and compassionate support.
