Our beloved grandfather, father, companion, and friend to many, Edward G. Wotowicz, 70, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022.
Ed was born September 3, 1951 to Edward and Edith (Edie) Davidson Wotowicz in New Castle, Pa.
Ed was an avid lover of all things outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He spent many cold days on the ice at Moraine ice fishing. His favorite place to
spend his free time was at his camp in Potter County, where he loved to hunt and watch all kinds of wildlife. He loved his Double-Stuffed Oreos and Root Beer as
much as he despised onions! Ed also loved music. You could frequently find him listening to his favorite songs through his headphones while playing along on his
bass guitar. He enjoyed playing his bass guitar with his friends and listening to Pink Floyd.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved sister-in-law, Judy Wotowicz.
Ed leaves behind his son, Ian Wotowicz of Los Angeles, CA, companion, Toni Yhelka of Ellwood City, step-daughter, Donia (William) Fox of Ellwood City, granddaughters, Janelle and Chloe Fox of Ellwood City, brother, Brian Wotowicz of Franklin, PA, and many friends, as to know Ed was to love him.
Honoring Ed’s wishes, no public services will be held. You can honor his memory by going fishing or dusting off your old Pink Floyd albums. We extend
our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the staff of Jameson Memorial Hospital, Avalon Place Nursing Home and Family Hospice of UPMC for all of the
love and care that was given to him.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Marshall Funeral Home of Ellwood City.
