Elizabeth B. McCullough, 87, of North Beaver Twp passed away peacefully Saturday, February 9, 2019 at her residence following an extended illness.

Born August 28, 1931 on State Line Rd in North Beaver Twp., she was the daughter of the late Floyd W. and Mildred Coleman Byers. She was married to Leland S. McCullough Sr.for 57 years when he passed away in 2010. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Raymond Byers.

Elizabeth graduated from Mt. Jackson High School in 1950. She was a homemaker and helped on the family farm.  Libby was an active member and former trustee of the Westfield Presbyterian Church.  She was also a member of the Big Beaver Grange. Libby enjoyed woodworking and making bears. She also enjoyed gardening, canning and collecting glassware. Her most cherished time was spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Leland S.”Stan” (Cindy) McCullough Jr.and David (Phyllis) McCullough both of North Beaver Twp.; two daughters, Karen (Don) Gwin of North Beaver Twp., Lori (Jim) Scott of Little Beaver Twp.; sister, Grace Paden of Sharpsville; 10 grandchildren, Mark, Matthew, Justin (Elizabeth) McCullough, Emily (Bryan) VanTassel, Katie (John) Myers, Will (Jessika) Scott, Alex (Abby) Scott, Todd (Megan) Glass, Leighann (Justin) Mitchell, Scott (Emily) Gwin; and eleven great grandchildren plus three more on the way.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, February 15, 2019 from 4-8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street Wampum. Friends will also be received Saturday from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 11 at the Westfield Presbyterian Church. Her pastor, Rev. Dr. Mark Hughes will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
