Eudora E. Aiken

Eudora E. Aiken, 90, of State Rt. 488, Portersville (Perry Twp.) died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the Allegheny General Hospital.

Born May 8, 1922 in Butler County, she was the daughter of the late Paul E. and Minnie B. Pizor Womer.  She was married to John D. Aiken who passed away on March 26, 1991.

Mrs. Aiken was a homemaker and a seamstress.  Eudora was affiliated with the Portersville Presbyterian Church.  She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and reading.

Survivors include two sons, Tedd (Sue Ann) Aiken of Ellwood City, Rev. Scott (Judy) Aiken of Rhode Island, two daughters in law,  Barbara Aiken of Portersville, Doris Aiken Cousineau of Florida, nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, five sisters, Penny Shaffer of New Wilmington, Donna Phillips of New Castle, Becky Cosgrove of Volant, Beth Ann Miller of New Wilmington,  Mary White of Pittsburgh, and three brothers, Robert Womer of Volant, David Womer of Sharon, and Sam Womer of California.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Don in 1993, Ben in 2003, a sister, Dorothy Wilt, and two brothers, Jim Womer and Paul Womer Jr.

Visiting hours will be held from 3-5 and 7-9 on  Wednesday September 26, 2012 at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.

Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 11:00 am with Ralph Phillips and Rev. Dana Opp officiating.

Interment will follow in Mountville Cemetery.
