Evelyn Mae Mack, 94, of Ellwood City passed away peacefully at her residence Monday December 14, 2020.
Born January 19, 1926 in Koppel, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mabelle Reeher McElwain. She was married to the love of her life Stanley J. Mack, who passed away on July 12, 1999.
Evelyn was a graduate of Lincoln High School in 1944. She was a former member of the Calvin Presbyterian Church. She was a telephone operator for ten years. Evelyn was known to have a great memory. She enjoyed bingo, playing on the computer, and camping. She loved being a homemaker and cooking special meals for her grandchildren, who were her life.
Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Stinson and Patricia (Samuel) Panico both of Ellwood City; sister, Beverly (Rod) Barber of West Pittsburg; three grandsons, Samuel M. (Rebecca) Panico of Monongahela, Noah Panico of Shadyside, and Joel (Friend Danielle Morabito) Stinson of Ellwood City; two great grandchildren Ian Stone King and Lily Stinson.
She was preceded in death by a sister Shirley Brown and a brother Paul McElwain.
A private service for the family will be held on Thursday December 17, 2020 with Pastor Phil Conklin officiating. Interment will follow in Slippery Rock Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Ellwood City Library.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Avenue, Ellwood City.
