Florence E. Walker

Florence E. Walker, 97, of Neshannock Township (formerly of New Galilee) passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022 at the Haven Convalescent Home.

Born February 24, 1925 in New Galilee, she was the daughter of the late Wendell N. and Mabel Madden Walker.

Florence had graduated from Mt. Jackson High School and was retired from Penn Power, where she worked in the Payroll Department. She was a former member of the Galilean Presbyterian Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, and a current member of the Highland Presbyterian Church. Florence was also a member of the Big Beaver Grange. She enjoyed traveling across the United States and different parts of the World.

She is survived by 9 nieces and nephews and dear family friends Jane McKinney and Beth Telesz.

The last of her family, Florence was preceded in death by her sister Jean (Charles) LeBoeuf and two brothers, Wayne M. (Lagene) Walker and George A. (Eleanor) Walker.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday October 11, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery. Rev. Richard Paul Kinney will officiate.

A Memorial Service will be held in November at a time and location to be announced.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Galilean Presbyterian Church or Highland Presbyterian Church.
