Francis H. Clark

Frances H. Clark, 88, of Patricia Dr., Ellwood City died Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the Jameson Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Born January 23, 1926 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Flora Burns Hogue. She was married to Allen E. Clark who passed away April 10, 2009.

Fran retired from the Ellwood City Forge where she worked in the Accounting Department from 1967-1991. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Ellwood City. She was also a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Fran was an accomplished seamstress. She enjoyed making clothes and cooking.

Survivors include a daughter, Christine (Jack) Sheehan of West Middlesex; son, David Clark of Ellwood City; sister, Kathleen Bruehl of Florida; grandson, Captain John Sheehan who is stationed in Virginia with the US Marine Corp.; and granddaughter, Lauren (Stew) Shaley of Ellwood City.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother, Charles Hogue.

Visiting hours will be held Sunday September 14 from 6 to 8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.

Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 am with Tom O’Brien, Minister officiating.

Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
