Fred H. Faraoni

Fred H. Faraoni, 85, of Ellport died on Friday, August 24, 2012 at the Jameson Memorial Hospital following an illness.

Born November 17, 1926 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Manfredo  and Eula Mae Chaffin Faraoni. He was married to Alberta J. Williams Faraoni who passed away on March 15, 2003.

Fred was a self employed landscaper for many years.  He was also a welder.  He was a Veteran of the US Navy.   Fred was a football fan, especially a Steeler fan.  He enjoyed traveling and cooking.  His most cherished time was spent with his family.

Survivors include two sons, Charles M. “Mick” (Donna)  Musulin of New Castle, Fred D. (Debbie) Faraoni of Ellport; three daughters, Sandra Lee (Roy) Brei of Sharon, Cynthia K. Moffatt of Ellwood City, Anna Marie Krol of Ellwood City;  a sister, Thelma Lucas of Nebraska; eleven grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife and parents, son, Stephen Craig Musulin,  brother, Domenic Faraoni, sister, Mary Jane Santillo and son in law, Joe Krol.

Visiting hours will be held on  Tuesday August 28, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Holy Redeemer Church on Wednesday,  August 29, at 10:00 am.  Military rites will be offered by the Veterans Honor Guard.

Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
