Helen J. Zeh

Helen J. Zeh, 92, of New Beaver Boro passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at her home following a short illness.

Born April 24, 1924 in Wampum, she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Nancy H. “Dimple” Davis Wilson. She was married for 68 years to William C. Zeh, who survives.

Helen was an active member of the Wampum Presbyterian Church. She was also a lifelong active member and former officer of the Big Beaver/ Mahoning Valley Grange. She was a member of the Grange Campers Club and Ladies Club.

In addition to her husband, Bill, survivors include three daughters, Jane (Bill) Cummins and Susan (Bob) VanTassel, both of Mt. Jackson, Donna (Jim) Pursel of Dillsburg; son, Dale Zeh of Wampum; twelve grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.

The last of her family, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Alice Miller, Bertha Beatty, Eleanor and Hazel Wilson, Esther McMichael, and a brother, Thomas D. Wilson.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, December 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum.  Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 am with her pastor, Rev. Dr. William R. McGary officiating. Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
