Helen Louise Hazel

Helen Louise Hazel, 74, formerly of Ellwood City died on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at the Heritage Valley – Beaver Hospital.

Born October 26, 1937 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late William John and Rose Parlington Raisley .

She was married to Frank J. Hazel for 47 years when he passed away on October 1, 2012.

Helen enjoyed baking and cooking for her family. She also enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Hazel and her companion, Mike Jeffries of New Galilee; two sons, Bill Hazel of New Castle, Jim Hazel of York, PA; six siblings, Tom (Carol) Davis of Wampum, Ralph (Maybelle) Raisley of Koppel, Betty (Thomas) Peak of Worthington, PA, Barbara Raisley of New Galilee, Grace Jeffries of Wampum, Linda (Jim) Pettigrow of MD; five grandchildren; and one great grandson.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Kenneth, Bill, Donald and John Raisley.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday October 25 from 4 pm until the time of the funeral service at 7 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, Main Street Wampum. Pastor Ed Hanley of the New Galilee Church of the Nazarene will officiate.
