Jack R. Kingman

Jack R. Kingman, 64, of Beaver St., Wampum died on  Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the Jameson Memorial Hospital following an illness.

Born October 17, 1948 in Glendale, CA,  he was the son of the late Earl “Jack” LaRue and Kathryn Winstead Kingman.  He was married to Denise Thewes Kingman.

Jack retired as a Process Engineer. He worked internationally with his specialty in metal casting.  He was a longtime member of the Wampum United Methodist Church, having formerly served as a trustee and on the church council.  He was a member of the Wampum Lion’s Club and a 32 Degree Mason.  Jack enjoyed bowling and was an avid and accomplished golfer, playing with the Wampum Senior Golf League.  He was interested in Military History and enjoyed sports.  His favorite time was spent golfing with his brother in law, Dale Leslie, his sons, and grandsons.

In addition to his wife, Denise, survivors include two sons, Brian (Jodi) Kingman of New Castle, Matthew (Kristen) Kingman of Wampum; brother, Rev. Donald (Sue Ann) Kingman of Clifton, TX; and five grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, Katie, Zack, and Max Kingman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Barbara and Linda.

Visiting hours will be held from 4-8 pm  on  Sunday March 17  at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum.

Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 am with his pastor, Rev. Todd  Davis officiating.

Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
