Jacqueline A. Hangst, 57, of Ellport died on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at the Ellwood City Hospital following a brief illness.
Born December 29, 1955 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Jack L. Hangst and Shirley Ann Sternquist Hangst.
Jackie graduated from Lincoln High School in 1973. She then attended Duquesne University. She graduated with a Degree in Music from Youngstown State University. She was an accomplished pianist. Until recently, Jackie worked for Angelo’s Towing Service in New Castle.
Survivors include two sisters, Amy Jo (James) Love of Ellwood City, Andrea Hangst of Chicago, Illinois; brother, Jeffrey Hangst of Switzerland; two nieces, Zosia Ann and Amelie Jacqueline Hangst of Switzerland; two nephews, Jonas and Kristian Hangst of Denmark and her stepmother, Stephanie Gunn Hangst of Ellwood City.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, July 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.
Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 am with Rev. Tod Custer officiating.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lawrence County Humane Society.
