James M. Mallary, 51, of Halltown Rd. Wampum died unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, June 25, 2012.
Born May 17, 1961 in New Castle, he was the son of the late George L. Mallary and Dorothy Johnson Mallary of Brighton Twp. He was married for 30 years to Tammy Engle Mallary, who survives.
James graduated from Mohawk High School in 1979 and attended Penn State, Beaver Campus. He formerly worked as a machinist for Daimler Chrysler. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Columbiana, Ohio. James enjoyed gardening, working on cars, and carpentry.
In addition to his wife, Tammy and mother, Dorothy, survivors include a son – Stephen Mallary of Wampum; daughter – Kathryn Mallary of Philadelphia; 2 brothers – George (Elaine) Mallary of Wampum, John (Barb) Mallary of Boise, ID; and brother in law – Sam Gennaro of Hillsville.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Denise Gennaro .
Visiting hours will be held on Friday June 29, 2012 from 6:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 8:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum. Rev. C. F. Hoffman of the Darlington Presbyterian Church will officiate.
Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
