James R. Norge Sr.

James R. Norge Sr., 76, of Wampum Mt-Air Rd., New Galilee (New Beaver Boro) went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. He died unexpectedly in the Emergency Room of the Ellwood City Hospital.

Born August 28, 1937 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Peter and Sophie Metta Norge Sr.

James was the owner and operator of Norge Construction for 50 years. He formerly attended church at the Church of God in New Castle and currently at the Victory Christian Center in Coitsville, Ohio. Jim enjoyed music and playing his guitar. He also enjoyed karate and had earned his black belt ranking.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Becky Anderson Norge; his former wife, Carmella Sbarra Russell of West Pittsburg; daughter and son in law, Lisa and Michael Rosati of West Pittsburg, two sons and their wives, James and Janet Norge of Shenango Twp., Mark and Brooke Norge of New Castle; two daughters and sons in laws, Toni and Brandon Mangino of West Pittsburg, Dawn and Fred Mozzocio of New Castle; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; a brother and sister in law, Peter and Debbie Norge Jr. of New Beaver Boro; two step daughters and their spouses, Sheila and Ron Taylor of Georgia, Tami and Andrew DeLorenzo of Shenango Twp.; and four step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday October 13 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum.

Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 am. .
