Janet R. Reeher

Janet R. Reeher, 78, of Wilson Dr., Wampum (Big Beaver Boro) passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Allegheny General Hospital following a short illness.

Born October 9, 1938 in Koppel, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Schnitzki Percic. She was married for 59 years to Ronald D. Reeher, who survives.

Janet retired following 38 years of service as the Food Director for Big Beaver Falls High School. She was a lifelong member of the former St. Theresa Parish in Koppel where she was active with the Christian Mothers Society. She currently is a member of Holy Redeemer in Ellwood City. Janet had many loving friends. She cherished time spent with her family.

In addition to her husband, Ron, survivors include two sons, Ronald J (Linda) Reeher of Wampum, Richard J. (Vicki) Reeher of Koppel; sister, Gloria Botte of Beaver; brother, John (Kathy) Percic of Beaver Falls; three grandsons, Jordan, Jason, and Ronald Reeher; and one great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by parents.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday October 21 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum. A Blessing service will be held on Saturday at 11 am at the funeral home with Rev. Father Joseph Pudichery officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
