Jennings H. Dean

Jennings H. Dean, 76 of Tampa, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the Carrollwood Care Center in Florida.

Jennings was born in Romney, West Virginia to the late James and Retha (Cox) Dean. He lived most of his life in West Pittsburg. He was married for 46 years to the late Shirley M. Donley Dean.

Jennings enjoyed spending time with family and friends camping, traveling, playing bingo and pool. He will be missed by all.

He is survived by two daughters and one son, Donna Micco, of Youngstown Ohio, Carol Kumrow, of Mercer, and Jennings (Pam) Dean Jr., of Tampa, Florida; siblings, Alice (Dave) Rinker, Jerry Dean and Lucy (Jerry) Staggs, all of Romney, WV; five grandchildren, Jessica Kumrow, Casey Melhorn, and Melissa Kumrow of Mercer, Jesse Dean and Katie Sculley of Tampa; and five great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roscoe Dean.

Jennings chose to be cremated and laid to rest beside his loving wife, Shirley. A time of remembrance will be held for family and friends on Monday from 11 am until the time of the Memorial Service at noon at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Rev. Sean Brubaker of Calvin Presbyterian Church will officiate.
