Jerry W. Brown

Jerry W. Brown, 69, of Cherry Hill Rd., Ellwood City (North Sewickley Twp.) died unexpectedly on Monday, January 6, 2014 at his residence.

Born May 14, 1944 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Wayne H.and Ruth Linville Brown.

Jerry graduated from Lincoln High School in 1962. A Veteran of the US Air Force, he was stationed in Germany. Jerry worked for many banks in the area including, First National Bank, Reeves Bank in Beaver Fall, and People’s Home Savings in Ellwood City. He presently worked for the Lawyers Abstract of Beaver County. Jerry enjoyed golfing and was a former member of the Connequennesing Country Club. He was a member and past president of the former Jaycees Club in Ellwood City. He was also a member of the ELKS Club.

Survivors include his fiancé, Darla; a son, David (Robyn) Brown of Mc Donald, PA; a daughter, Kellie Gardner of Atlanta, Georgia; his former wife, H. Lorraine Brown; brother, Timothy (Karen) Brown of Arvada, Colorado; seven grandchildren, Abigayle and Parker Brown and Grace, Daniel, Russell, Conner, and Colten Gardner.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David L. Brown who was killed serving in the Marines during Vietnam.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday January 9, 2014 from 6 to 9 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Friends will also be received at the funeral home from 10 until the time of the service at 11 am on Friday. Interment will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
