Jill Ann  Mentzer, 58, of Wampum, PA went to be with the Lord on  Monday, April 22, 2013 after an extended illness.  She was surrounded by loving family and friends as she entered into eternal rest.

She was born December 29, 1954, as the second of four children born to the late Jack Duwayne Mentzer  and Shirley May Thomas Mentzer of New Castle.

She was a 1972 graduate of Laurel High School and received a diploma in Nursing in 1974 from the Community College of Beaver County.  She married the late James Edward “Butch Beltz at Slippery Rock Presbyterian Church on December 21, 1974, built a home and raised two daughters, Rachel Elizabeth and Rebecca Lynn Beltz on Dutch Ridge Road, Ellwood City.

She loved the outdoors, photography, movies, poetry, and writing.  She had a heart for animals and loved her career in Nursing.  She was employed over 30 years by the Ellwood City Hospital and taught classes such as CPR, Crisis Prevention Techniques, and Diabetes Education.

Although she was preceded in death by her father, husband, and sister, Pamela Mentzer, she leaves her mother, two brothers – Jack E. Mentzer of New Castle and Russell W. Mentzer of Portersville, her beloved daughters, Rachel Elizabeth (Luke) Miller and Rebecca Lynn (Andrew) Pilch and one granddaughter, Peyton Elizabeth Pilch.
