John R. Coulter

John R. Coulter, 61, of Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 5, 2023 at his residence.

Born September 8, 1962 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Laird and Frances Cook Coulter.

John graduated from Lincoln in 1981. He was a self-employed handyman and enjoyed drawing and painting.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years Kerry Gardner Coulter; son, Josh (Heather) Coulter of Ellwood City; daughter, Kaylee (Dalton) Stewart of Ellwood City; sister, Linda (Paul) Cook York of West Chester; brother, Don (Patty) Coulter of North Sewickley, and two grandchildren Scarlett and Amelia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Larry and Jim Coulter and his father-in-law Charles Gardner.

Per John’s wishes no services will be held.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
