Joseph Allen “Joey” Taylor

Joseph Allen “Joey” Taylor, 46, of Wampum passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at his residence.

He was born August 21, 1976 in Ellwood City, he was the son of Anthony M. Jr. and Linda M. Moczan Taylor.

Joey was a member of the Wampum Methodist Church. He loved fishing, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and time spent with his family. He was always eager to extend a helping hand where he could. He spent most of his life working in the labor industry where he was known as a hard worker. Joey was a kind and thoughtful soul with a big heart and will be forever missed and remembered by the many lives he touched.

Joseph is survived by his parents; three daughters, Jaelyn Marie, Jaycee Lynn, and Gracie Ann Taylor; brother Tony (Nicole) Taylor III of Ellwood City; sister, Christina Hufnagel of Ellwood City; granddaughter, Ava Lynn Taylor; two nieces Lexi and Lucia and two nephews Ben and Josh.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Anthony and Jean Taylor, Joseph and Ann Moczan, and his brother-in-law Bill Hufnagel Jr.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 4:00pm until the Funeral Service at 7:00pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street Wampum. Pastor Dave Keppen of the Wampum Methodist Church will officiate.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in care of the Funeral Home.
