Joseph E. Bowman

Joseph E. Bowman, 79, of Fletcher Hill Rd., Wampum (Shenango Twp.) passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the Autumn Grove Care Center in Harrisville following an extended illness.

Born April 18, 1936 in Wampum, he was the son of the late George and Dorothy Pierson Bowman.

Joseph retired from Babcock & Wilcox where he worked in the shipping department from 1963-1985. He was a 1955 graduate of Shenango High School. A Veteran of the Army, Joe was stationed in Korea. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and fishing.

Survivors include niece, Mary Alice Huff of Union Twp., and two nephews, John Huff of Union Twp., Victor Huff of New Castle.

He was preceded in death by a sister and brother in law, Sarah and John Huff.

Graveside services will be held at Castleview Memorial Park on Tuesday, October 27 at 2:00 pm.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum.
