June Pollyblank

June Pollyblank, 89, of Old Rt 18, Wampum (New Beaver Boro) died on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness.

Born June 12, 1924 in West Pittsburg, she was the daughter of the late Fred D. and Lillian Mae Hackett Emery. She was married to the late James J. Pollyblank Sr. who passed away January 8, 1978.

June was a long time snack bar employee at Stonecrest Golf Course. She was a member of the Wampum United Methodist Church where she was a former Bible School Teacher and a member of the Woman’s Society. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 749 Auxiliary and the Wampum Women’s Club.

Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Huffman of Wampum, Kathryn Schiraldi of Willowgrove, Linda Pollyblank with whom she resided; a son, James J. Pollyblank Jr. of Marysville, California; eight grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dolly Rentz, Gerry Rylott; two sons in laws, Wilbert Huffman, Martin Schiraldi; and a great great granddaughter, Karina Marie Plohr,

Visiting hours will be held on from 2-4 and 7-9 on Friday, July 12 at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street Wampum.

Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday 11 am with her pastor, Rev. Todd Davis, Pastor Jeff Harter of Family Hospice and Matt Kingman officiating. Interment will follow in the Clinton Cemetery.
