Kathy B. Rekrut

Kathy B. Rekrut, 76, of Brighton Township passed away unexpectedly Thursday, October 12, 2023 at her residence at the Friendship Commons.

Born April 6, 1947 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence J. and Agnes Cragle Pack. She was married to Stanley J. Rekrut. He passed away on July 26, 2000.

Kathy had graduated from Riverside High School. She previously worked at the Red Bull Inn in Beaver Falls and at Sadies Big Beaver Restaurant but being a homemaker was her greatest joy. She enjoyed going to church and reading her bible. Some of her other interests were music, playing Bingo, and she enjoyed attending Life Beaver County for the last 10 years. Kathy cherished traveling and spending time with her daughter Lisa and her granddog, Roxy her Yorkie.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Rekrut Sites of Patterson Heights and sister, Theresa Pack of Frostburg, MD.

In addition to her parents and husband Stanley, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law Daniel J. Sites in 1992.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday October 15, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.

Funeral Services will be held at the Marshall Funeral Home, on Monday October 16, 2023 at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
