Lewis Allen

Lewis Allen, 79, of Market St., Zelienople died on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Cranberry Place in Cranberry Twp.

Born May 26, 1935 in Butler, he was the son of the late Lawrence Lewis and Gladys McCracken Allen. He was married to Ruth Miller Allen, who survives.

Lewis was a Union Electrician with the Local #56 out of Erie for 60 years. He was very proud of being a union electrician. Lewis was Lutheran by faith. He loved to travel and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, especially the Pirates.

In addition to his wife, Ruth, survivors include a step-daughter, Diana “DeDe” Kaminski of Zelienople;step-son, Ray Kaminski of Ellport; sister, Wanda Stewart of Medina, Ohio; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ron Allen.

Friends will be received on Wednesday June 4 from 5 until the time of the memorial service at 7 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.
