Lillian Jones

Lillian Jones, 92, of Northview Estates, Ellwood City, passed away at her residence on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 1:30 p.m.

She was born in Ellwood City on Sept. 19, 1919 to the late Fred and Jennie Hazen Jones. Lillian had worked at the former Lawrence Savings and Trust and then at Calvert Wire in Ellwood and Uniontown where she retired as executive secretary to the CEO. She resided in Uniontown for over 50 years. Lillian was a 1937 graduate of Lincoln High School.

She is survived by two nephews, Gary (Norma) McKenna of Ellwood and Ronald (Judy) McKenna of Tionesta; two great-nephews, Joel (Sheri) McKenna of Ellwood, Scott McKenna of State College and one great-niece, Jamie (Mark) Richards of Ellwood.

A sister, Luella McKenna preceded her in death.

Friends will be received from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m. at the MARSHALL FUNERAL HOME, 200 Fountain Ave., Ellwood City on Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Graveside services will follow at the North Sewickley Cemetery in Ellwood City.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Beaver County Humane Society.
