Lloyd E. Weisz, 90, of Edinburg passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022 at his residence.
Born April 16, 1931 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Daniel I. Sr. and Louise Murphy Weisz. He was married to Georgia Ullom Weisz in 1957.
Lloyd graduated from Lincoln High School in 1951. He was a United States Army Veteran, serving as a Military Policeman in the Panama Canal Zone. Lloyd worked as a scaffolding salesman and manager until his retirement. After his retirement, he worked as a handyman in the Ellwood City and New Castle areas, and also installed and maintained the signs for Castle Realty. Lloyd was of the Protestant faith. He was a hard worker who always stayed busy, especially on his home property.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 64 years Georgia; daughter; Sharla (James) Weisz Ferruchie of Ellwood City; two sons; James (Staci) Weisz of Citrus Heights, CA and Robert Weisz of Edinburg; five sisters, Norma Decker of Beaver Falls, Shirley Pendleton of Lancaster, CA, Marian Carlin of Hailey, ID, Doris Keane of Ellwood City and Vonda Recce of Ellwood City; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel “Joe” Weisz Jr. and Robert Jones and two sisters, Judi Stoops and Charlotte Wilson.
Per Lloyd’s wishes, no services will be held.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Lawrence County Humane Society or the Lawrence County Veterans.
