Lois M. Hayes

Lois Marjorie Hayes, the daughter of the late Ellis and Evelyn Chambers Allen, passed away on December 21, 2021 surrounded by her family.

Lois was a full-time homemaker. She is most known for her sense of humor and ability to make the most of any situation. Lois lived her life to the fullest. In her earlier years she liked to fish, was an avid bowler, enjoyed her summer vacations in Canada and liked listening to country music. She loved to buy scratch off tickets, play bingo, video games and ride her four-wheeler. Lois loved her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Randy) Ryder, granddaughter Nicole (Shawn) Amabile, grandson Brandon Ryder, and great-grandchildren, Ethan Amabile, Lucas Amabile, Devan Amabile, and Christian Amabile. She is also survived by two sisters, Doris Logan and Grace Clark.

Lois was proceeded in death by her husband, Franklin D. Hayes and her sister Marylou Snyder.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and aides from UPMC Hospice Care Team for the care and support provided to Lois and the family. Private services were held for immediate family.
