Margaret M. Deal

Margaret M. Deal, 90, of Big Beaver Boro (Hoytdale) died on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the Carriage Court Personal Care Home with her family by her side.

Born April 9, 1923 in Koppel, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Mildred Brandt Mills. She was married to the late John C. Deal who passed away June 23, 1984.

Peg was a member of the Clinton Methodist Church and the Jenny McKim Sunday School Class. She was an avid quilter and blessed many with her loving quilts. She loved cooking and baking for family and friends.

Survivors include a daughter, Catherine (David) Bailey of North Sewickley Twp.; two sons, John W. (Sharyn) Deal of Wayne Twp, Richard (Susan) Deal of Kimbacton, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggie Jean Matricardi on October 29, 2005 and a brother, William Mills.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday July 26 from 5-8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum. Friends will also be received at the funeral home from 11 am until the time of the funeral service at noon on Saturday. Pastor Dick Allen will officiate the services.

Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 12 pm with Pastor Dick Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
