Marsha L. Mckinney

Marsha L. McKinney, 70, of New Brighton passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at her residence following a brief battle with cancer.

Born May 20, 1950 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Walter L. and Lenora L. Widdowfield McKinney.

Marsha graduated from Riverside High School in 1968. She worked in the Quality Control Department at Weyerhaeuser for over 30 years. She also formerly worked as the front desk clerk at the former Holiday Inn and current Wyndham Hotel in Beaver Falls. Marsha was the former owner of CeCe Bridal Formal in Ellwood City. She enjoyed reading and attending arts and crafts shows. Marsha was a kind and generous person and loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include a daughter, Kelly (Anthony) Sims of New Brighton; sister, Connie (Bill) Lutz of Wampum; brother, Keith McKinney of Wampum; brother in law, Donald Bauder of Ellwood City; four grandchildren Kieran, Calista, Trinity, and Josiah Sims, and two nieces, Brandie (Bill) Butler and Kara Lutz.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine C. Bauder on February 1, 2015.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Shriner’s Hospital or the Humane Society.

Marsha’s wish was to have no formal services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.
