Mary Elizabeth Goebel Hall, 85, of Wayne Township passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at her residence following a short illness surrounded by her loving family.

Born August 18, 1936 in Shenango Township, she was the daughter of the late Gus and Mabel Lechner Goebel. She was married to John H. Hall Jr. when he passed on July 5, 1998.

Mary graduated from Lincoln High School in 1954 and then from the New Castle Business College in 1955. She loved the Pirates, Bingo, and riding in her car.

Survivors include daughter, Linda Sue (Ricky) Cox of Volant; son, Dennis Eugene (Joann) Hall with whom she resided; three sisters, Suzanne Krueger of Wayne Township, Janice (William) Davis of Pulaski, and Sally Fitzgerald of Monaca; two brothers, John (Fran) Goebel of Wayne Township and Charles (Mary Lou) Goebel of Wampum; two sisters in law, Karen Goebel of Wampum and Betty Maravella of Shenango Township; three granddaughters, Elizabeth (John) Finlay, Amanda Hall and Emma Hall; grandson, Jakob Hall and a step-grandson, Richie Nesbit and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Kevin Hall in 2017, her daughter Mary Jane Hall in 2019, brother Tom Goebel in 2018, and many brothers and sisters in law.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday June 13, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street Wampum.

Funeral Services will be held at the Chewton Christian Church on Tuesday June 14, 2022 at 11:00 am with Pastor Gene Hydrick officiating.

Interment will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park.
