Mary Jane Kumrow

Mary Jane Kumrow, 74, of North Beaver Twp., New Castle passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital following an extended illness.

Born October 1, 1940 in Kinsman, OH, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Mary Marzinko Papp. She was married for 50 years to Henry A. Kumrow who passed away September 20, 2011.

Mary Jane was a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking and baking and taking care of her family. Her most cherished time was spent with her grandchildren.

Survivors include three daughters, Laurie (Doug) Miller of Wampum, Mary (Mark) Callahan of Coraopolis, Valarie (Doug) Black of Camp Hill; siblings, Steve (Grace) Papp of Pittsburgh, Marge Ritter, James (Sue) Papp, and Albert (Pat) Papp, all of Ohio; and five grandchildren, Dougie and Chase Miller, Conner Callahan, and Jordyn and Taylor Black.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Jamie August Kumrow in infancy and four brothers, Alex Jr, Laddie, Sam and Eddie Papp.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday March 19 from 5-8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 am with her pastor, Rev. Wayne Cleary officiating.

Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
