Mathilda “Tilly” Randza

Mathilda “Tilly” G. Randza, 93, of Norwood Dr., Wampum (Big Beaver Boro) passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Friendship Ridge following an extended illness.

Born November 27, 1921 in Rochester,she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Carmella Armen Randza.

Tilly was a nurse’s aide at Providence Hospital and also worked at the Dew Drop Inn in Beaver Falls. She was a member of the former Queen of Heaven Church in Koppel.

Survivors include a brother, Joseph (Ruth) Randza of Scottsdale, Arizona; two sister in laws, Jean Randza of Beaver Falls, Harriet Randza of Ohio; two special nephews, Andy Randza of Koppel, Jeff (Molly) Beaman of Lakeland, Florida and twelve other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Edward, Gene, and Frank Randza, and a niece, Edith “DeDe Randza.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday January 7, 2015 from 10 am until the time of the Blessing Service at 11 am at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum.

Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Beaver Falls.
