Milton D. Ippolito, 76, of Wampum passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022 at AHN Grove City following a short illness.
Born March 19, 1946 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Jacob A. and Betty J. Powell Ippolito. He was married to Karen Kennedy Ippolito in 1967.
Milton had graduated from Lincoln High School in 1964. Milt was employed by the B&W and then was the Owner and Operator of Wampum Sport and Cycle. He was a full time National Guardsman retiring as Master Sergeant from the 107th Field Artillery. From 1992-2002 he was maintenance support of Field Artillery courses conducted at the 166th Regiment (Combat Arms). He was a member of the former St. Monica’s in Wampum and a current member of Divine Grace Parish in Ellwood City. He was also a member of the Bessemer Croatian Club. Some of his interests were woodworking, camping, and fishing. Horses were his passion. He cherished spending time with his grandsons.
Survivors include his wife Karen; son, Mark D. Ippolito; daughter, Lisa M. Ippolito both of Wampum and grandsons, Jacob and Tyler.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Dennis in 1967.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday November 7, 2022 from 3:00 pm until the time of the Blessing Service at 7:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street Wampum. Father Mark Thomas of Divine Grace Parish will officiate. Military Honors will be observed by the Veteran’s Honor Guard.
Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
