Nancy Lee Spratley, 78, of Ellwood City went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 17, 2023 surrounded by her loving family at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
Born on February 28, 1945 in Rochester PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen Joseph Hall. She was married to the love of her life Albert Daniel Spratley.
Nancy was a hard worker and caregiver, working for the Blair Nursing Home for 21 years, and also in private home health care. She also worked for Airway Luggage, Alsy Lighting, and Leeds and Northrup. Some of the things that she enjoyed were planting her garden, watching older television shows, and listening to country music. She loved her family very much.
Survivors include daughter, Debbie Faraoni of Ellport; three grandsons, Fred (Chelsea) Faraoni of Ellport, Daniel (Shanea) Faraoni of Wampum, and Jonathan (Crystal) Wawrzynski of Ellwood City; granddaughter, Kimberly Wawrzynski of New Castle; seven great-grandchildren, Rachelle, Arionna, Jon Jr, and Destinee Wawrzynski, and Damian, Landyn, and Ezria Faraoni; one great-great-grandson, Dalton; two sisters, Linda (Dave) Grimm of Beaver Falls and Shirley (Don) Edwards of Darlington, and her nephew Billy (Wendy) Spratley who she helped raise.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Wawrzynski, son-in-law Fred Faraoni, and nephew Donnie Edwards.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday April 20, 2023 from 4:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 8:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Pastor Todd Smith of the Rock Christian Church in Rochester will officiate.
Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
