Nick Gobrich Iii

Nick Gobrich III, 54, of Mentor, Ohio (formerly of Wampum)  died on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 following a one year illness.

Born November 17, 1957 in Ellwood City,  he was the son of the late Nick Gobrich Jr. and Irene Falkowski Gobrich of Wampum.

He was married to Laura Shaffer Gobrich who survives.

Nick was a Veteran of the US Navy, serving from 1980 to 1982.  He was a professional cabinet builder in Mentor, Ohio.  He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

In addition to his mother, Irene and wife, Laura, he is survived by two daughters, Emily Gobrich of Canada, Nicole Gobrich of Patterson Twp; sister, Debbie (Bill) Anderson of Oviedo, FL; and a  brother, Stanley Gobrich of Ellwood City.

He was preceded in death by his father on June 25, 2008.

Friends will be received from 5  pm until the time of the memorial service at 6 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum on Saturday,  November 17, 2012.  Rev. Barb Holhauser will officiate.  Military rites will be offered by the Veterans Honor Guard.
