Ocey A. Bosley

Ocey A. Bosley, 74, of Wampum Rd., Wampum (North Beaver Twp.) died on Monday, December 2, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness.

Born November 14, 1939 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Ocey L.and Jessie Streets Bosley. He was first married to the late Frances R. Nye Bosley who passed away December 30, 1970. In 1972, he married his current wife, Ruth D. Morse Bosley, who survives.

Ocey retired in 1983 from Babcock and Wilcox Hot Mill in Beaver Falls where he was a crane operator. He was Protestant by faith. Ocey was a Veteran of the US Army and a member of the F&AM Lodge #599 in Ellwood City. He enjoyed traveling and spending his winters in Florida.

In addition to his wife, Ruth, survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Wetzel of Mahoningtown,; two sons, Jeffrey (Cassandra) Bosley of Martinsburg, West Virginia, Timothy (Lisa) Bosley of Lake Mary, Florida; son in law, Greg Butchelle of Edinburg; two sisters, Ruby St. Clair of Kissimmee, FL, Norma Ruzicka of Lexington, SC; brother, Harvey (Mary Ann) Bosley of Ellwood City; six grandchildren; and three step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife; a daughter, Roberta Butchelle on October 10, 2010; and five brothers, George, Boyd, Emuel, Dale and James Bosley; and three sisters, Verda McElravy, Annes Anderson, and Mary Garvin.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday December 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum. A Masonic Service will be conducted at 7 pm.

Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 am with Rev. Peggy Suhr-Barkley of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating.
