Paige Yarzebinski, 55, of Ellwood City passed away Friday, December 8, 2023 at her residence. Although in ill health, death was unexpected. She had battled Huntington’s Disease for many years.
Born May 10, 1968 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anabelle Houk Yarzebinski.
Paige worked at Kimmel’s Bakery in Ellwood City and also bartended at the Eagles Club. She was a member of the Hungarian Home and the Eagles Club in Ellwood City. Planting flowers, being outdoors in nature, being around children, and reading were some of the things that brought her joy. Paige was a very stylish woman who was known for her new shoes and was a motivator who could bring the best out of people.
Survivors include her former longtime companion and father of her children, Charles Johnston; two daughters, Michelle Johnston and Megan (Todd) Glass; two sons, Charles E. Jr. and Ryan Johnston; two sisters, Kevin Yarzebinski and Mikal Taylor; goddaughter, Jaylnn Coles and grandson, Wyatt Glass.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former companion Matthew Ferrante; three sisters, Marilyn Knechtel, Lana Koscevic, and DeeDee Loccisano, and her brother Brad Fitzgerald Yarzebinski.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday December 12, 2023 at the Hungarian Home in Ellwood City at 6:00 pm followed by a dinner and further celebration of her life until 8:00 pm. Pastor Nick Manzo will conduct the service.
